Why we exist

Unlike standard management consultants – this isn’t a one off with a large fee and then we’re done.

The Hotel Pro really supported us through the pandemic, me and Sharon 3 run pubs with rooms in Liverpool and we really have no idea about technology or the internet. We were only listed on Booking.com and were fed up of manually managing our bookings and worrying about filling our rooms during the week.

They managed to sort us a website out, did all of the write up about our hotel, took some great photos and refreshed all our images and uploaded them to google and booking.com and linked us up with a cheap simple system that sold our rooms on more channels. Including AirBnB and even Google. The best thing is not having to worry about our pricing anymore, when we re-opened in May we could see very quickly our rooms getting booked up and we had more enquiries and more guests booking direct.

Now we’re getting bookings in advance and at a really good rate too, it’s nice knowing already in July that we were almost full in August and we’ve even took more money now than we did before Covid ruined everything. The girls are brilliant and have become good friends of ours too, always at the end of the phone if we need them. I own and run a 13 bedroomed boutique hotel in Salford Manchester, which before I met Lisa was a 6 bed HMO (House of multiple occupancy).

I was tired of dealing with tenants, and getting a minimum rent for the rooms, and had tried to list a couple of rooms myself on Booking.com and Airbnb saw that there may be more potential for revenue and considered turning the place into a small hotel. I dabbled a little with the idea of franchise which didn’t work out for me with lengthy contracts and fees, so during the start of the pandemic I enlisted the services of The Hotel Pro. I had no website or any real experience managing a hotel or listing my business online, so Lisa and the team guided us through the whole process, booking engine, OTA’s, review sites – everything.

The pricing and all of the rates and promotions we do online is now managed entirely by the team, and we are very happy with the way things are going, our average daily rate is far better than before and the value that we get from The Hotel Pro really is excellent.
